Scrapbooking

Hello everybody! Welcome to or back to Guiding at Home. This idea might be coming to late to you but you still have all of the summer to use it.

As you grow older it's easy to forget what you got up to when you were younger and you just forget memories. Isolation is starting to lift after many months of very similar days that have blurred into one. I know it hasn't been the best time, it's been a very hard time for many but it still doesn't mean we should forget the memories and laughs that have happened. That's why I'm coming to you with this activity today.

I think scrapbooking is such a fun way to store your memories. They can be as messy and creative as you like but they store so much. Record your memories and your giggles, it doesn't have to be perfect, it's not suppose to be. You will want to look back on everything and having a scrapbook full of photos, drawings and random things that you have found interesting and funny will help you to do so.

It's now summer so it's a perfect time to start. Many people won't go on holiday this year but you can still record all your adventures at home and with your friends.

Why not have multiple scrapbooks for different parts of your life? For example one off adventures with your family and one for all your Guiding fun :)

I have off course created a Pinterest board to give you some inspiration but a scrapbook can look like anything: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/guidingathome/scrapbooking/

Please leave a comment below if you make a scrapbook or if you already have one.

Thank you for reading and make sure you keep safe and keep on Guiding!
